Farmers Market
I am so happy it is Friday. The farmers market on Friday mornings in Whittier is something I really enjoy. The fresh organic fruits and veggies taste amazing. I notice such a difference from grocery store produce. The prices are cheaper and you get to buy organic. Here is a photo of some of my finds at the Friday morning Farmers Market. ReplyDeleteI made chicken sandwiches last night for dinner with the Ciabatta bread. I do toast the bread in the pan after the chicken and bacon are done!:)
ReplyDeleteThese sandwiches are so simple. I cook smoked bacon in a cast iron pan until crisp. Then remove the bacon and let it drain on a paper towel. I then cook the chicken breasts in the same pan as the bacon. This keeps the chicken moist. When the chicken is done I place it on the bread. I then top it with fresh avocado, red onion and sometimes roasted bell peppers or just lettuce. Very simple and tasty!:)
